The PING G430 SFT HL driver build is a new option for slower swing speed golfers who don’t generate sufficient clubhead speed and ball velocity from traditionally weighted clubs. Custom engineered with lighter backweights (11g in driver), ultra-light shafts (Alta Quick 34/45) and grips (Lamkin UTX 41g), PING have lowered the overall weight so golfers can swing faster and generate more ball speed for higher launching, longer carrying shots. Available in G430 MAX and SFT drivers and fairway woods, hybrids and irons.

The new family consists of three driver models which are by now, well known to PING aficionados. The MAX, LST & SFT models have hugely differing playing characteristics allowing the discerning golfer to select the best model for their game.

VFT and SPINSISTENCY

PING’s engineering team developed several new technologies common to all three models whilst applying specific advancements to each individual head. The end result is that each new model produces measurable ball-speed gains and a hugely improved sound throughout the series. The added ball speed is attributed to a shallower and thinner VFT forged face design engineered with Spinsistency. A variable roll radius technology proven on the G425 fairway woods and hybrids. The improved and pleasing sound is the result of fine-tuning the frequencies of the head through a new internal rib structure. Providing the golfer with superior feel and feedback through impact.

The PING G430 SFT is once again the most draw style forgiving model out of the three and fits any slice or left to right of golfers. The PING G430 SFT HL (Straight Flight Technology) head now features a two-setting, moveable tungsten 11g backweight which varies the amount of draw curve added to your shot. The Draw setting delivers 13 yards of right-to-left shot bend which is increased to 20 yards when the CG is located in the Draw+ setting. This further level of adjustability allows the club to evolve with your game.
